The 502nd Air Base Wing will host the Great Texas Airshow at Joint Base San
Antonio-Randolph April 23-24, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
The aerial event features the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron
“Thunderbirds,” the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, and many others. It will also be a key event celebrating the 75th
anniversary of the U.S. Air Force. The Great Texas Airshow also includes
support from all services and features static displays and aerial
demonstrations by many military and civilian acts.
The event is free and open to the public.

Saturday, Apr. 23 & Sunday, Apr. 24
Please note performances are planned to be the same each day and can change without notice. There will not be published times for individual performers. Guests are advised to arrive as early as possible due to heavy traffic. Please also take into account walking time to the shuttle and to the airshow grounds.
The Thunderbirds perform at 3 p.m.
9:00 AM – Gates open/Parking lots open/ Static displays open
11:00 AM – Aerial Performances begin
3:00 PM – Gate traffic reduced to outbound traffic only
4:15 PM – Aerial performances end

The Armed Services Blood Bank Center is in need of blood of all types. They will have a booth open at the airshow and will be standing at the ready for donations.
All blood collected assists in supporting all of our Medical Treatment Facilities and wounded warriors around the world.
In an effort to keep donors and staff safe, please maintain distance between each other and donor center staff THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS, and avoid touching your face unless your hands are clean.
